The GK200 drilling rig is a hydraulic feed portable drilling rig capable of drilling to depths of 200 meters with a 295mm hole diameter. High temperature in drilling rigs typically manifests in three areas: gearbox high temperature, hydraulic oil high temperature, and engine cooling liquid high temperature. The primary cause of gearbox high temperature is typically related to non-standard bearing or gear and housing dimensions/shapes, or the use of unqualified oil.

According to hydraulic theory and maintenance experience, the main reasons for hydraulic oil temperature being too high are excessive heat generation and insufficient heat dissipation. Factors contributing to excessive heat generation include:
