The BW 160 Horizontal Triplex Grout Pump is engineered for high stability in drilling rig applications. This horizontal three-cylinder reciprocating single-acting piston pump features two-cylinder and four-speed variable operation, supporting both large-diameter drilling up to 1000 meters and small-diameter drilling up to 1500 meters.

• Before starting, fill suction pipe, bottom valve, and pump body with water; fill pressure gauge buffer upper end with oil
• Reciprocate piston twice before starting; begin operation with no load and gradually increase load after normal operation
• Frequently test mud sand content during operation; sand content should not exceed 10%
• For multi-speed mud pumps, operate at several speeds during each shift with minimum 30 minutes per speed
• Do not change speeds during operation; stop pump completely before shifting speeds
• Stop pump immediately for inspection if abnormal noise, water volume, pressure, or temperature rise occurs
• Stop pump at no load under normal conditions; for long-term shutdown, open all drain holes and drain all mud and sand
• For extended storage, clean all parts, drain crankcase lubricating oil, and apply anti-rust/corrosion protection
