Drilling Process Details
- High Pressure Gas Supply: Core power foundation - High pressure compressed air of 0.7~2.5 MPa is generated by an air compressor, and the airflow is transported to the inside of the drill rod through a high-pressure air duct, ultimately reaching the pneumatic down the hole hammer at the bottom of the drilling tool, providing continuous power for subsequent impact and slag discharge.
- Pneumatic Down the Hole Hammer Impact: The core action of breaking the formation - After high-pressure air enters the interior of the down the hole hammer, it pushes the piston in the hammer body to perform high-frequency reciprocating motion (up to 800-2000 impacts per minute). The piston repeatedly impacts the drill bit at the lower end of the down the hole hammer, converting the pressure energy of high-pressure air into mechanical impact energy.
- Low Speed Rotation of Drilling Tools: Expand the diameter of the hole and break it evenly - At the same time as pneumatic impact, the rotary mechanism of the drilling rig drives the drill rod, down the hole hammer, and drill bit to perform low-speed, low torque rotary motion, allowing the impact surface of the drill bit to evenly cover the bottom of the well, expanding the range of impact fragmentation to the designed wellbore diameter.
- High Pressure Gas Lift Slag Removal + Cooling: Maintain continuous drilling - After completing the formation fragmentation, high-pressure air will not be completely consumed, and a portion of the airflow will be ejected from the slag discharge hole of the drill bit, mixing with the rock debris at the bottom of the well to form a gas-solid mixed flow. Using the principle of gas lift, the mixed flow is propelled by high-pressure airflow and moves upward along the annular gap between the drill rod and the hole wall, ultimately being discharged outside the hole to achieve continuous slag discharge.
