Basic Composition
The core drill is composed of rotary mechanism, feeding mechanism, lifting mechanism, transmission mechanism, control device, base and other basic parts. Some Diamond Core Drill Rigs may also be equipped with control measuring instruments or other accessories.
Rotary Mechanism: Called the rotary device, it drives the drilling tool to rotate and enables continuous rock breaking. Available in vertical shaft, rotary table, and mobile types.
Lifting Mechanism: Used to lift drilling tools, casing, or other equipment. Most drilling rigs feature specialized elevators for this purpose.
Feeding Mechanism: Adjusts and maintains axial load on the drill bit and feeds the drilling tool according to drilling speed to maintain continuous operation.
Transmission Mechanism: Transmits power from the engine to all working mechanisms via mechanical, semi-hydraulic, or full hydraulic transmission.
Control Device: Distributes power, adjusts movement speeds, and changes direction and form of working mechanisms. Hydraulic transmission rigs typically feature independent control consoles.
