The ST 400 Pneumatic Drilling Rig is primarily designed for drilling water wells and agricultural irrigation wells. During drilling operations with water well drilling rigs, sticking is a common problem. Sticking occurs when the pipe string and tools cannot be lifted, lowered, or rotated in the well, preventing normal drilling operations.

When dealing with broken drill bits, use a section of seamless pipe with a diameter nearly matching the hole diameter. Fill the pipe with materials like butter or asphalt, connect it with the drill pipe, and lower it to the hole bottom to retrieve broken pieces. Always blow out rock powder from the hole bottom before fishing operations.

In severe cases where drilling tools cannot be lifted or lowered and the impactor doesn't sound, apply external torque or use auxiliary tools to help rotate the drilling tool. Promote the drilling tool while supplying gas until the fault is resolved. When resuming drilling, apply pressure first, then gradually increase propulsive force until reaching normal working pressure.
